 The
Association is an international alliance of businesses dedicated to the
interests and concerns of manufacturers, owners, and operators of automated
teller machines ("ATMs") and third party product and service providers
to such persons.
The Association's mission is:
- To encourage educational
programs and continuing education of the ATM industry both in the United
States and abroad;
- To establish and
promote working relationships between the members of the Association
(the "Members") and a variety of businesses, both private and public,
with interests in or related to the ATM industry;
- To cooperate with
all appropriate financial associations to promote high ethical
standards and professionalism within the membership and industry;
- To conduct and disseminate
research in the following areas:
- Innovative teaching
methods and curriculum development;
- Future education
and training needs;
- International
affairs and development;
- Legislative and
governing issues;
- Technology assessment;
- Kiosk, self service
terminals, and e-commerce as it converges with the ATM industry;
- To inform professionals
of developments in the ATM industry and act as a forum for
exchanging ideas.
